Dr. Ang Kok Yeang is a General Practitioner practicing in Kampar. He became interested in photography about 3 years ago when he bought a small Point & Shoot. After awhile he became dissatisfied with the P&S, so he bought a bigger and better P&S. As is normal with toys for big boys, in less than another year, he graduated to a DSLR. Dr. Ang says that photography gave him a new insight to look at life from another perspective. He wanted to really improve the way in which he sees pictures, and that was what made him enroll for the Photosafari Photography Experience in Siem Reap. The two days of classroom workshop in Kuala Lumpur covered all the “technicals” about how to shoot compelling pictures. The 7 days shooting in Siem Reap, not only introduced him to a group of very enthusiastic photographers, but most importantly, it taught him to think before pushing the shutter button.. Who ssays you cannot teach old Doc new tricks.
