Photosafari is organising a trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia to celebrate our five years of photosafari experience. We started our first photosafari trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia on 6th of April 2009 and have since organised more than 35 photosafari trips around the world.
This time we are on the lookout for more places in Siem Reap that we have not explored. We will be visiting Koh Ker group of temples that have recently opened to visitors. It is presently relatively unexplored.
Here is a four days three nights photo adventure trip to the mysterious Siem Reap. There is a chance to shoot some landscape, architectural, documentary and people interest pictures. We will be visiting some of the famous Temples like Angkor Wat, Ta Phrom, Preah Khan and Banteay Srey. On the itinerary is the Tonle Sap Lake and visiting some local villages.
We have arranged for a free and easy evenings where we will have our own dinner at the various restaurants around the Pub Street. This area is famous for its many restaurants and pubs serving International cuisine.
Itinerary
Day 1 – 17th July (lunch)
– Pick-up at Siem Reap International Airport
– Check-in to City River View Hotel
– Lunch and briefing of the trip.
– Visit the oldest Buddhist Monastery Wat Bo pagoda to shoot some Old Buddhist Architecture.
– Sunset shoot at Angkor Wat temple
– Dinner (on our own)
– Free and easy
Day 2 – 18th July (breakfast and lunch)
4:30 – wakeup call
5:00 – sunrise shoot at Bakorng temple
6:30 – packed breakfast
7:30 – Preah Ko temple, the location of the first Angkor City
9:30 – Preah Khan temple
12:00 – Lunch
13:30 – Ta Prohm temple
15:30 – Bayon Temple
17:30 – back to hotel
18:00 – free and easy
Day 3 – 19th July (breakfast and lunch)
6:00 – morning call
7:00 Breakfast
8:00 – Drive to Koh Ker temple groups
10:00 – Koh Kor temple groups is a new visitor’s destination set in the jungle
12:00 – Picnic lunch
13:30 – drive to Beng Meala jungle temple
15:30 – K. Khleang fishing village at Tonle Sap Lake
18:30 – back to hotel
19:30 – free and easy
Day 4 – 20th July 2014 (breakfast and lunch)
6:00 – morning call
7:00 – breakfast
8:00 – Banteay Srey temple shoot
11:30 – lunch
12:30 – check out of hotel
13:00 – airport for flight departure.
