Brief Profile of Azrul K Abdullah

Azrul K Abdullah is a professional photographer based in Kuala Lumpur who shoots Architecture, Portraiture of Celebrities, Events like International Model Competition organized by Amber Chia and Commercial assignments.

He has served clients ranging from architects to publishers, with clients in Malaysia, Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Australia and the USA.

Azrul has served as a speaker on digital photography for Apple Malaysia and has held various exhibitions in his favourite medium; traditional black and white. His work has appeared in various publications including Off The Edge, The Sun, Architecture Malaysia, Design and Architecture Asia, PlanB, Cubes and Harper’s Bazaar. He has served as a judge for numerous photography competitions, a consultant to the Australian High Commission (Kuala Lumpur) for their 25th Anniversary of the chancery building and most recently a speaker at the UNHCR’s Regional Communications Conference held in Kuala Lumpur.

This workshop is a hands-on workshop aimed at sharing with the participants the thought, personal approach and technical process of  taking portraitures.
