Noni Noordin

1.
Noni Noordin – has just started  digital photography and she shoots with a Pentax DSLR. Her dear husband is an extremely keen photographer and in the past when she followed  him on Photo Malaysia organized photography trips, she only watched.  She’s now decided to take photography seriously, and judging by the quality of her shots, she seems to have a really good photographer’s eye and has quickly mastered the Pentax.
On the right, Noni’s silhouette of a local minority group tribesman on  Lang Biang Mountain blowing a buffalo horn, is a shot which many beginners may find  difficult to execute.
The two following pages  shows she has a good eye for details too, zooming in tightly to  focus  firstly on  burning  joss sticks hung on the ceiling of the Ong Bon Pagoda in Ho Chi Minh city, and then coming in close,  to capture the pattern created by bundles of joss sticks tied together.
