This October we are organising a photosafari trip to Kashmir. This is an enchanting land of beautiful landscapes and people. Some have called this land “Paradise on Earth”. Autumn is arguably the best time to visit Kashmir. The temperature drops to a comfortable 10 degC in October. The season of mists and mellow fruitfulness; everything turns to red and gold. The red carpeted gardens are a treat to the eyes. The vibrant colored valleys, the rustle of the fallen leaves and the fragrance of flowers are there to enchant you.
We will be visiting places like Pahalgham, Gulmarg and Sonamarg. In Srinagar we will be staying at the famous boathouse on Dal Lake.
We intend to fly in from Kuala Lumpur to Kochi by AirAsia (AirAsia has cancelled their KL to Delhi flight) and then continued with Air India for an internal flight from Kochi to Srinagar via Delhi. We are open to suggestions of any better flight route to Srinagar.
This photosafari trip is planned for 13th Oct (Saturday) to 20th Oct (Saturday) so that you only need to take 5 days leave for those who work a 5 days week.
Some of us may go to India a few days earlier to take in some sights and sounds of Kochi. You may join us if you wish.
